From TradeStay to TS Companies: Built for the Workforce That Builds America
We build the systems that protect, stabilize, and sustain the people delivering America’s most critical projects — the first integrated workforce infrastructure ecosystem of its kind.
Our Origin
It Started With a Room
TS Companies was born from a simple realization: America was investing billions in critical projects, but too little attention was being paid to the people traveling across the country to build them.
Founder Allison brought a civil engineering background and a career spent traveling the country, working with architects and engineers to improve building performance, reduce failures, and build more sustainably. Over time, she came to recognize that the greatest point of failure was not always the design itself. Too often, it was the way the construction workforce was supported—the conditions they lived in, the distance they traveled, and the instability they experienced while doing some of the country’s most demanding work.
As major construction began ramping up in Arizona, that realization became impossible to ignore. Skilled craft professionals were arriving from across the country and facing limited lodging, long commutes, constant moves, and few environments designed around the realities of their work.
When the opportunity arose to combine Allison’s understanding of the construction industry with Jorel’s background in hospitality, they saw a chance to do something meaningful in their own community: create a better way to support the people building it.
TradeStay was created to do exactly that.

What began as a workforce lodging solution grew into the broader vision for TS Companies: building the infrastructure that creates stability beyond the jobsite. Today, we develop lodging, technology, and adaptable workforce solutions designed around the demands of critical projects and the people who make them possible.
For Allison and Jorel, the mission is also personal. It is an opportunity to give back to the industries and communities that shaped their careers while improving the experience of the people doing the work.
Because when we take better care of the people building our communities, we build stronger projects and stronger communities in return.

Why It Matters
The Workforce Gap Is a National Infrastructure Risk
America’s most critical projects don’t fail for lack of capital or ambition. They fail when the workforce can’t be housed, moved, supported, and sustained at scale. Point solutions leave gaps — and gaps stall timelines, inflate costs, and put national priorities at risk.
An integrated ecosystem closes those gaps. For government agencies, major projects, and industries, TS Companies delivers a single, accountable partner that treats workforce stability as the infrastructure it truly is — engineered to deploy fast, operate at scale, and hold to rigorous standards.
Partner Organization
Introducing TradeStrong
TradeStrong is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization built on a simple truth: the people who build and protect our communities are expected to be strong, but they are not always given the support they need to sustain that strength.
Years spent alongside skilled tradespeople, union leaders, contractors, and traveling crews revealed a gap that had little to do with skill and everything to do with long-term stability, wellbeing, and support beyond the jobsite.
Through TradeStay, we saw firsthand that housing was only one part of the equation. What was missing was a stronger structure around the workforce itself.
TradeStrong was created to help build that structure.
TS Companies is proud to partner with TradeStrong, whose programs, tools, and resources directly support the workforce serving on America’s most critical infrastructure projects.
Because strength deserves support.
